Assim, o Gir\u00f4 nasce da vontade de 5 pessoas em possibilitar um espa\u00e7o para reflex\u00e3o e trocas de aprendizagem decoloniais atrav\u00e9s das artes, e isso, de forma a reunir e disseminar materiais e atividades que estimulem futuras discuss\u00f5es.<\/p>\n<p>Ou seja, atrav\u00e9s da centraliza\u00e7\u00e3o das mais diversas obras de artistas dissidentes em atividades que objetivam a reflex\u00e3o, incentivamos a troca comunit\u00e1ria, junto da constru\u00e7\u00e3o e dissemina\u00e7\u00e3o de caminhos para a aprendizagem decolonial.<\/p>\n<p>Al\u00e9m disso, o nome Gir\u00f4 \u00e9 uma paranom\u00e1sia, que remete a palavra, origin\u00e1ria da \u00c1frica Ocidental, Gri\u00f4 que s\u00e3o pessoas que usam da oralidade como ferramenta de preserva\u00e7\u00e3o e transmiss\u00e3o da hist\u00f3ria, tradi\u00e7\u00e3o e cultura de seu povo. Gir\u00f4 remete tamb\u00e9m ao verbo girar, ou seja, que est\u00e1 em constante movimento, e nosso caso do Gir\u00f4, que orienta-se para outros mundos e nosso acervo com atividades antirracistas e decoloniais, produzidos tanto por n\u00f3s do Gir\u00f4, quanto por qualquer interessade, e isso de forma a incentivar poss\u00edveis debates.<\/p>\n<p>Assim, as atividades entram como an\u00e1lises de artes decoloniais, de forma a tra\u00e7ar paralelos entre a obra escolhida, seu contexto, seus efeitos sociais e possibilidades para reflex\u00e3o.
